it was a long but fun day today. the drive up took us about 10 hours, including an hour stop for lunch and multiple rest stop areas. our plan was to stop at every one, just because. ha we missed two because the closer we got to our destination, we just wanted to get here. plus my truck doesn't have cruise control and i have to shift gears then hold my foot on the pedal, and my leg and butt were starting to cramp!
but - we had a blast - it was a safe and fun trip
seeing aunt linda and uncle tom is always a treat. i showed them videos of katie singing last week and they loved it! aunt linda cooked a great meal, then we all got in the hot tub for like an hour. i am all pruney
i am also pooped, so i am going to bed after bidding goodnight to them all while they talk and catch up
tomorrow is MY DAY
we are going into downtown Chicago in the morning, having lunch with tj, then going to get my new scooter! i can't wait!!!
